The TM Racing range of 4-stroke engines has become legendary for exceptional power delivery and outright performance and durability. The ability of these engines to perform has become renowned worldwide and for a ‘production’ engine the internal components and materials used are unmatched, many of these components and materials being of a level of quality that would only usually adorn the best of the ‘factory’ engine machinery. With an ever-growing list of results globally in many disciplines, the 4-stroke range of TM Racing engines has grown to not only accommodate the off-road sector, but also now feature in road racing and even Karting. The smaller capacity 250Fi / 300Fi engines have been dominating in the Enduro world for several years, taking multiple world titles, European and domestic titles around the globe. Likewise, the 250Fi / 300Fi MX and SMX variants are adding to the trophy cabinet tally. TM Racing’s larger capacity 4-stroke motorcycle range has seen great success over the past seasons, with the SMX (SMK) 450Fi machine now having taken multiple Supermotard World Championship and domestic championship titles. This year has been no different and once again the latest ‘SMK’ 450Fi version is leading the way, taking yet more World and European Championship titles this year. Held in high regard, the SMK is the bike to be riding in Supermotard to get the desired results, this machine has been designed and built specifically without compromise. A bike that can be bought as a package, ready to thrive in this discipline, where others are generally adapted machines created from other MX base models, the SMK 450 is proving unstoppable as did the SMX version before it. The 450Fi Enduro model was also recently adopted and developed to form the TM Racing Rallye bike, the 450 DKR / Rallye, a machine that has taken world championship victories in its class, a great testament to performance and durability in the harshest conditions. The 250Fi and 300Fi variants are also currently setting the world stage alight and have taken many World titles in the hugely competitive World Enduro Championship. These latest TM Racing 4-stroke machines have been turning heads and impressing riders globally with their sheer performance and handling, a superbly engineered racing machine that are outperforming their predecessor in all aspects and achieving great results.

The 4-stroke range will retain the current ‘reverse’ chassis configuration with fuel tank under the seat and the air intake above the engine. This layout has seen a huge transformation in the handling characteristics of all the 4-stroke models since it was introduced and has been gradually improved upon year on year. Centralised mass, better outright balance and revisions to the geometry and suspension settings have allowed TM Racing to create and incredible range of 4-stroke machinery all with superb ability and agility. An incredible range of engines matched to an incredible range of chassis, each tailored to a ‘base’ engine, have given TM Racing the ultimate range in 4-stroke machinery, with each model proving itself to be class leading on the world stage in it’s given discipline. We have some small but significant changes to the engines for the new model year, alongside a new engine for the MX 450Fi model, all model variant engines differ internally on a large scale also, differences to the camshaft, piston, valves, crankshaft, con-rod, gearboxes and more, not to mention settings in the electronics and fuelling systems to tailor the performance of each engine perfectly. Each of these changes is tailored to every model and designed to work alongside the revised throttle bodies and Fi systems, maximising the responsiveness and outright engine performance of these already incredible engines for each given discipline. The legendary 450Fi engine, that has dominated in its Supermotard guise for over a decade, seen huge changes in 2022 with the release of the ‘twin’ pipe engine ‘SMK’ model – akin to its smaller capacity brethren, that featured a revised cylinder head with two exhaust systems and a finger follower valve train. This engine design will now be defined as the TM Racing 450Fi engine of choice in terms of performance and thusly we will now see a revised variant in the MX 450Fi machine. All 4-strokes models will receive some technical changes for the new model year, all designed to work harmoniously to give greater performance throughout. The best just got better.
